Are you up for a unique volunteer opportunity?
Every Meal has received a donation from a partner who owns an automobile demolition company. The donation is loose change from the demolished cars! Many of the coins are fine, but others are in rough shape.
The task: separate the good coins from the bad. We've got around 40 bags/buckets of coins separated by denomination. Most are quarters, but some bags of dimes, nickels, and pennies too.
We'll have a team from US Bank on site to help volunteers decipher which coins are viable and which are not.
We won't get everything sorted during this event, so we're hoping a handful of volunteers who come to this event will be willing to attend future sorting sessions to train new volunteers on how to decipher the good coins from the bad. :-)
Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.
