Please arrive 5-10 minutes early for your volunteer opportunity so we can start on time!
Make sure to wear close-toe shoes and appropriate clothing for the weather. First, we'll have a brief orientation in the volunteer center. Next we'll head outside to the garden for harvesting, weeding, and pest management.
Bags of produce harvested from the Grow & Give garden will be going to several Head Start locations to be shared with families of kids enrolled in pre-k programs!
Since this volunteer event is outside we encourage all volunteers to bring water, sunscreen, and a hat if desired. Gardening gloves will be provided.
