Weekend Meal Program Distribution Volunteers have a hands-on, direct impact on children living with food insecurity by consistently and reliably distributing food at sites every week as part of our Weekend Meal Program.

Volunteer Delivery Driving

(Shifts available during the school year)

Volunteer Delivery Drivers support our Supply Chain team through van deliveries of food orders to our partner schools and community sites across Minnesota. As a Delivery Driver,  you’ll be driving solo to deliver carts of our boxes at schools throughout the Twin Cities metro area.  Recruit a partner to volunteer with you if you don't want to deliver on your own! :-) Learn more about becoming a volunteer Delivery Driver HERE.

Order-Building

(Shifts available during the school year)

Order-Building Volunteers help build the food orders that we deliver to our partner schools and community sites across Minnesota. As an Order-Builder, you’ll be putting together boxes or totes of our food bags onto pallets or carts to ready them for delivery by our drivers.

Skill-Based

This type of volunteer opportunity is where we post short to long-term projects on the administrative side of Every Meal. It can include handling volunteer data, printing labels for mass mailings, counting enrollment forms, and many more!

Warehouse

This type of volunteer opportunity is where we post short-term sporadic projects on the warehouse side of Every Meal. It can include projects such as disassembling unusable food bags, building cubicles, re-palleting non-perishables, and many more!

Food Bag Packing

As a Food Bag Packing Volunteer, you’ll join other members from our wonderful community at our Volunteer Center in Roseville to help pack food. In this high-energy and high-impact volunteer opportunity, you’ll form assembly lines and pack bags containing approximately four meals of good food that are nutritious, delicious, and relevant.
