August 2026 Food Bag Packing - Teams Only

Description

Thank you for coming to pack food with us!

NOTE: To maintain high show-rates of volunteers, we separate each month of packing events into two concurrent volunteer opportunities. There are portions of each event for the "Individuals Only" posting and the remaining portion for "Teams Only" posting.

Team leaders should limit their team sizes to ensure no volunteer spots go unfilled. It is always better to underestimate! If you are wishing to schedule a team for 25 or more, please contact Liam Green, Volunteer Coordinator (lgreen@everymeal.org).

Please arrive 10-15 minutes early for your packing event so we can start on time.

Make sure to wear close-toes shoes.

First, we'll have a brief orientation in the volunteer center. Next, we'll form assembly lines and pack non-perishable food items for people in our community who need it!

Health and Safety

Masks are currently not required but are encouraged if that is your preference.

If you feel ill or have flu-like symptoms, please stay home. Read more about the precautions we're taking and what we require HERE.

You may need to sign our new Volunteer Release Form first. This can be found under "Qualifications" by clicking the arrow beside your initials in the top right corner of your screen.

You can add yourself to the waitlist. If you are looking to squeeze into a full event as an individual or smaller team, please reach out to lgreen@everymeal.org (Volunteer Coordinator - Liam Green). You can also go to the public packing page and click the green button that says "BECOME A FAN" and you'll be the first to know via email when we post new opportunities.
