Order-Builders will be on the warehouse side of the building using our handheld scanners to put together boxes and/or totes on pallets or carts to be delivered to schools or community sites by our drivers. This opportunity helps ensure the drivers, school partners, and kids receive the food bags in a timely manner. These are distributed into children's backpacks on Thursdays/Fridays to help their families over the weekends.
This requires standing, bending and lifting up to 30 lbs boxes. We will help train you.
We would love volunteers to sign up for a minimum of 1-2 shifts a month to keep up with the orders. If you need to adjust your shift or have any questions please email: volunteer@everymeal.org
